What would it take for you to believe in God?

If he came down and talked to me, I'd be tempted to believe it was a delusion. He would have to come down and talk to everyone, and it would take many many people I know telling me they talked directly with god before I would believe.

There are a lot of people who claim to have spoken with God already. Most of them wind up grabbing a high powered rifle and climbing the nearest tower. In fact, all the true believers claim God speaks with them. The only people involved in religion that God doesn't talk to are the pedophile priests.

not a chance. i don't even have proof that i even exist or that anything that i am experiencing exists (ala matrix).

hell, for all i know, i could be god. i could have picked a lifetime to live in human form to experience how humans live and then automatically wake up after my mortal death with all of the experiences of a human life.

or i could just be the thought of a pile of dung in another dimension that developed a conscious.

in short, there is no real way to tell what is real or not, this is why i am agnostic.
