WHat would it take to run my RAM 1:1

I have a ram divider ar 5:4 (166) iin my bios. I am currently at 2.64 GHZ with my 3500+. I have my OCZ El Platinum Rev2 ram set at 2-2-2-5 timings and 1t. ISn't it alot faster to run your ram 1:1?? I currently have the fsb at 240 (x11). How could I do this? Also, is it worth getiing the RAM timing to 1:1??

It's not a lot faster on A64s. Check the 939 Memory sticky at the top of this forum.

Give the RAM 2.8 volts and relax the timings to 2.5-3-3-8 and you should hit 240 easy at 1:1.

2.64 GHz is a nice overclock as it is; something like 10x270 or 9x300 probably won't yield any significant performance over 11x240 because the A64 isn't all that dependent on memory bandwidth. (You could also be real anal and note that the other two I mentioned have 60MHz on what you're at now--that probably doesn't make much difference either, and it would still be easier just to go to 11x245.)

Your OCZ memory should do nice timings if you run at 240MHz. Don't stress if you have to run a divider, though.

ocz will cover the ram up to 2,9 i think.
