Pennies haven't been made from copper since 1982.Originally posted by: Dominato3r
Get this all in pennies. Then sell the copper.
IIRC it costs more to make pennies then the actual worth.

After taxes it would be around 88 million.
I would probably buy about 20 million worth of apartment buildings and hire people to manage them.
I would invest 20 million in WAG stock ... (solid company with some bad stock performance as of recent, lots of room to grow up, as well as decent dividends)
I would invest 10 million in S&P 500 midcap index funds
I would spend 10 million on paying off my mortgage, paying off family members mortgages, buying my mom a new house, buying a couple of vacation homes, and improving my current house (though I might be tempted to move out and buy something with a garage and a bigger lot if I was rich)
I would invest 10 million in investing in failing businesses that look like they are worth saving to me. (meaning, a bit of rehab and some better money management would make them profitable, and they would be an asset to the community)
I would invest 9 million in agricultural lands and lease out the land to farmers.
I would invest 6 million in a Russell index fund.
I would open 20 savings accounts, each for the maximum amount insurable ... just to have safe emergency money. (2 million)
I would invest 1 million in additional agricultural land. The land would be leased in exchange for bacon.

I'd have to burn one million as even numbers are teh debil.
but if you burn 1 million, you would still have an even number.
Wouldn't it make sense to burn just 1 dollar?
Otherwise, maybe you should go for a prime number .....
'175' is not even. Did you go to an F-school or just fucking sail on the failboat with the grammar nazi elite troops?
I thought we won $176,000,000?
175,000,000 % 2 = 0, so FAIL.
wow... I'm surprised folks didn't catch on this sooner.

How much interest does a bank give you these days?
If the 88million was put in a bank, what would be the yearly interest income?

Uh, it depends on the bank and the account you open? Like a savings account would only yield less than 1% but a Money Market you may see 3-4%.

Pretty easy for me.
-- Prepay for my 2 kids college etc
-- Set up trust funds for my kids with rules about when they got the money. At least 10 million each or more.
-- Give my immediate family members a million each (this would be about 10 million total)
-- Take above family members to a nice dinner to celebrate
-- Build a house on some land for us and an "inlaw house" on said land for my mom
-- Put a gameroom in said house with all the pinball machines and video games I like (think arcade games). Hire a tech to maintain them regularly for me.
-- Buy some more real estate for investment purposes.
-- Donate at least 1 million to our church and another 10 million or so to various DESERVING charities and help organizations
-- Probably buy the wife a new minivan (Odyssey maybe) and get a cool reasonable sports car to have fun with on the weekends
-- Get a trainer to get me back in shape
-- Work with my financial planning brother in law for other investments.
Overall I wouldn't blow it on a ton a useless crap (except the gameroom). I don't want a bunch of fancy cars or a million dollar home. I would mostly just want to enjoy life. I would also keep working at the accounting firm I own 1/2 of but I sure as hell wouldn't work as much.

You made a damn stupid assertion and got caught red handed. When he called you out on it you flipped the fuck out and now you're trying to brush it aside like it's nothing?
Looks like the stress from that secretary job is really getting to you little buddy.
