You have to be pretty bright to be President. Even with a corrupt Chicago machine pushing.
I took your civil literacy test, and I scored 87.9%. This must mean I'm a genius.
And I have only attended public schools and colleges. Of course, I voted for Hillary.
I wonder what the average score on this test is for GWB voters?
Having an above average iq does not prevent one from lying. It makes the likelihood of lying greater.95
I'm sure someone with a 110 IQ could name what they read.
Does anyone know where I can find a reliable IQ test on the online?
I usually spend the majority of my day filled to capacity with unwarranted self-importance, and it would be really great if I could back up my sense of intellectual superiority with hard numbers.
On the topic of Mrs. Palin and the question in the OP: I really don't think she's as dim-witted as she comes off on her best days. I've always believed her to be average with regard to intelligence (aren't most politicians?), but very intellectually incurious--the latter being the most damning quality I ever personally find in people.
lmao.
Anyone who actually thinks that Jesus horses belongs in reality isn't just a victim of indoctrination and poor education, they have to be stupid too.
They just HAVE to be stupid.
Not to mention that irony typically isn't understood by those with deficient IQs.Irony isn't necessarily funny.Fear No Evil said:LULZ not found.
And yet another indicator of a deficient IQ is utter failure at attempts at wit.I guess the answer to that would be whatever the IQ of the hand Pelosi has up Obama's ass has. :hmm:
Your reasoning is utterly fallacious. You draw a broad conclusion based on (extremely limited) anecdotal evidence.IQ has little to do with achievement; one of the guys that almost always beat me out was, last time I heard from him, working as a garbageman up north (I forget which state or city) and perfectly happy as long as he could afford weed and movies and could think about whatever he wished while working.
Actually, Clinton's IQ is estimated as being in the low 140s. That's reinforced by the fact the Hillary's IQ is widely reported as being 140 (and that of all traits, the closest correlation for married couples is IQ).Why because he was a nuclear engineer? Not even close... Bill Clinton had 180s like Reggie Jackson, a frekken baseball player, super genius.
I'd peg Carter about 130-140.
Obama 150+
Reagan 130's
Bush 135
Bush 2.0 115
IMO

In fact, various studies have concluded that IQ correlates moderately with achievement. For example, it's estimated that between a sixth and a quarter of the variance in income is attributable to IQ. Wikipedia provides a few citations:

IQ isn't the be-all and end-all of success in life, but it's certainly better to have a higher IQ than a lower one. Ask yourself the question: If you could have an IQ 20 points higher, would you decline?

I can usually tell when people are dumb. RR was not dumb despite lefts portrayal fearing his power and popularity they tried to use this low IQ canard but in Sara's case I think it's no joke. If you can believe it, or not, I don't care, I have something in the 160s and can always tell someone equal or better I simply dismiss them as smart but someone less it's easy...
110
Well, this is AnandTech. And I have an IQ of almost 200. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a date with a supermodel. I do hope she won't have pointy elbows. :awe:
The problem with estimating Palin's IQ as any higher than average is that you're not factoring in many things.
1. She barely succeeded in getting a low-end degree from a community college. As others have said, educational success is highly correlated with IQ.
2. Her chosen "major" (communications) is a field in which she utterly fails. Professional success is also highly correlated with IQ.
3. Her grasp of abstract topics is extremely poor, as seen in many interviews, she can only parrot party lines. Her analytical abilities are extremely poor, as well as her ability to "think on her feet".
Overall, she seems to lack any basic ability to understand complex topics and communicate those topics in a meaningful manner.
Now, many may say that her advisers didn't prep her, but the problem with that logic is that advisers wouldn't send her out without prep, thus, she failed to absorb it.
Additional evidence of her going-away speech in AK and the markup on that speech, shows that she can't even form coherent sentences.
Overall, I'd put her below average. She has charisma, looks, and an agenda that appeals to the "average". This is the only reason why she has experienced a modicum of success in the political field.
