One shouldn't be commenting if s/he can't (or "doesn't care to") spell well.
I thought one had to have around 120 to be accepted at most colleges (at least that was the propaganda issued by my high school counselor in the early '60s) - Palin does have a degree (not that that means all that much - see below)... One doesn't have to be a genius to understand what's right and what's wrong for a proper federal gov't American style - very little of the Constitution is obtuse. But a lot of what Congress does and the Pres. signs is purposely obtuse and thus candidate for repeal if we ever again get a Congress that knows what America is supposed to be.
Obama and his cronies don't seem to know and they're supposed to be some sort of frackin' geniuses... Inactive member of Mensa here (by Mensa supervised IQ test). I also did well on ISI's (
http://www.americancivicliteracy.org) Civics Literacy Quiz (solid B+), which I doubt many O lovers could pass with 70% (without cheating)... Avg. scores for all Americans tested was 49%! Average scores of those who claimed degrees were: Doctorate- 72%, Masters- 64%, Undergrad- 57%. Four years of study at Cornell actually lowered test scores: Freshmen- 61.9%, Seniors- 56.95%, a 4.95 point (that's nearly 8% of the starting point) hit. Cornell was also one of the first schools where the inmates took over the asylum... Princeton was negative 1.7 points and Yale was at -3.1 points. Harvard students improved by nearly 6 points. Most colleges did better, but none improved by even 10 points... Those who claimed to have held elective office (i.e. politicians) averaged even worse than the general public at 47%, and it's obvious.
The take-away is that most Americans don't even know what America is supposed to be (surely a result of years of gov't detention center, i.e. public school, indoctrination and dumbing down) and thus can't cherish it - the original design is worth cherishing (with a few notable exceptions, the founders were men of their time after all).
