Lol, I have a friend who's in his sixties and male and has a huge crush on Taylor Swift. He's got good genes, so he's (still) quite good looking -- tall, trim, full head of honestly non-gray hair, with chiseled, patrician features -- that sort of thing. But the guy's effing deluded.
He still thinks he can pull chicks in their late 20's and 30's, which, even though he could still reasonably pass for his early 40's, still ain't much gonna happen.
Lol, he made me come with him to one of those "glasses while you wait" franchise stores to help him chat up the stunning, be-boobed 25 year old female clerk.
He obviously mistook her well-polished "I shall make my freakishly high commission by smiling a lot and bending over to show my cleavage at every opportunity (really -- she was dead nuts doing that)" for genuine interest.
He's deluded, I'm not, but I did enjoy chatting her up.
As he was exiting I dutifully told her he wanted her phone number. We both had a good, short laugh and then she told me she'd rather have mine, but I'm not deluded and I'm wasn't in the market for overpriced glasses, so I just took it as a minor compliment that I give good oral . . . conversation.
Anyway, the guy won't stop going on about Taylor Swift! Did I mention his taste in music is just as shallow?
