I'm 6' and weigh 232 lbs. If I could get down to 200 lbs that would be about right but I have a large build. When I was 19 I got down to 192 lbs and looked skinny. According to BMI I should go down to 183 lbs to not be "overweight" which is ridiculous. I'd look like a twig.

I'm in the same boat. 6'4" and 270 here, working my way down to 240-250 range. I have a large build. Anything below 220 and I start looking sick. Last time I weighed 200 I was a Freshmen in HS and I had zero mass. Even when playing soccer, running track and doing cross country those stupid tests always listed me at obese.

bullshit, at 5'9 and 125lbs I wear a small and sometimes even a medium.

6'5" and 160-170ish I believe. I wear large shirts for the length but I have pleeeentttyyy of room without looking ghetto or baggy since I have broad shoulders.

Eh, 5'11 and currently weigh about 240.
I clearly have fat, but I'm on a pretty strict cut right now. Lost like 14 pounds in 1.5 weeks.

When you're squatting and dead lifting in the almost 500 range, you're going to get bulky as hell. Of course with the cut, my lifts have just taken a nose dive. Too damn hungry to lift properly.

The subject of BMI comes up a lot here and is controversial.

ALL OTHER THINGS BEING THE SAME, it is "healthier" to carry 160 pounds than 200 pounds, even if the extra 40 pounds is muscle. Your heart has to work harder, your joints and muscles have to support more weight, etc.

However, all other things are never the same, and it's certainly better to be an in-shape, muscular 200 pounds than a lazy, cholesterol-ridden 160 pound smoker. So BMI is quite imperfect.

For example, purbeast0 indicates he is now just over 200 pounds at 5'11". I've seen his pictures, he's a very muscular person. I workout regularly and have a decent amount of muscle but not nearly to that extent, so while I'm the same height I am quite overweight at 200 pounds. I'm at 180 now and start to feel fat at >185 but feel (and look, according to my wife) a bit unhealthy at <175 pounds. A lot of the "you look unhealthy" comes from what you're used to though.

I'm 6' and have ranged anywhere from 150 pounds when I was doing very competitive distance running to almost 210 pounds when I stopped running ,took a life of apathy and constant travel for work.

150 pounds I looked malnourished. At 210 I was definitely tubby and very unhealthy.

I've been sitting in the 170-180 range for the last 5 years and that's where my body just wants to be now. It's a good weight for me. Any heavier than 180 and my body was really not happy with things like running and basketball. My feet and knees were in a constant state of pain or injury. Dropping down to the 175'ish range seems to be the sweet spot for athletic activity for me. I've got enough meat on me to absorb some shots and hold my own in basketball while not being so heavy that it slows me down or hobbles me.
