For the record, I used my gift cards to get a Binaltech Hound and to pay for (half of) the cost of a weight bench at Target. So, yay. I'm considering getting myself an HD-DVD player on my own dime at Best Buy; 18 month financing at 0% interest, plus it comes with two free HD-DVDs. I don't pay for cable anyway, so it works out to about $28 a month, so I think I can swing that.

heh...

We did christmas eve at my father-in-laws
Christmas morning here
and christmas day at my mother-in-laws

Sum total for the three events AND including mailed gifts from my mother, sister, and brother

a $25 Borders gift certificate and Scrabble.

that's it..

either I'm hard to shop for or I'm just not likable...

(Actually, I'm 100% sure they spent it all on my three daughters, and knew I wouldn't care).

This was one of the gifts I gave to my mom Rock garden fountain
and her 2 cats love it. It was so fun putting it together, dimming the lights, leaving the room and watching them sneak up to it, amazed! like "WoW, what is this!" These cats are strange they have a fascination with water, if you let the kitchen sink drip they will watch it all night.

what i got....
22' westinghouse widescreen monitor
ipod nano 2gig
superman t-shirt
1st issue of the 'civil war' marvel comic event
40 dollar gift card to Rhino games
25 dollar gift card to Walmart
1 bottle of Emerril's cooking spices
8 AA rechargable batterys + charger (Great! for my Wii, done went thru 1 set)
Some art by a college student (mom works at University) framed, this was really cool

This was a very good christmas!
I finally bought the gf somethings she really liked (jewerly, smelly stuff & soft stuff), I can buy her electronics worth much more, and she is like 'hurp, oh... wow. *sarcasm*

I got a new Computer room with all the fixxings and all the components to build the computer that you see in my sig.
My wife let me finaly build the office I always wanted. I did every stitch of it my self from the wood floors, The hand made computer desk, and the custom built computers.
It took me about three weeks to do it and I finished it X-mas eve with the completion of the wifes computer.
Here are a few pics........

You guys should have put your age before listing your gifts.

Our family doesn't give gifts to the adult members...Christmas is for the kids, I'd rather have my family spend the $$$ on my daughter than me. If I want something I'll buy it.

I'm 25...the only thing I got was an emergency battery charger (for my brand-new truck...ie, brand-new battery). I couldn't be happier.

I mostly got tools for my growing collection (torque wrench, an SAE set of long-neck sockets, a rotary tool, and some other little things). I also got some good work clothes, as well as a couple calenders, some cologne/after shave, Season 6 of TNG and $100.

BTW, I'm 19.
