Santa brought Myself, my wife, and my daughter....THE FLU! He really spoiled me with a 102.7 temperature, while only teasing my wife with a temp of 101.6. He did give my daughter a vicious cough that made her throw up! Twice! He gave my son the shaft and only gave him a cough/cold, so we spoiled him with toys.



Wife got me a new pair of Flow snowboard bindings, my kids bought me the game Battleship so we could play together (winner!), parents got me the Simpletech 250gb Simpleshare NAS / Print Server. Father in law got us over 800sq ft of the most BEAUTIFUL cedar decking material so we can rebuild our rotting deck in the spring. And who knows what else from other various family members.

Twas a good year....

Nothing yet. As usual, for 90% of every Christmas since I remember (and other holidays), my dad is working 12 hour shifts. So we are celebrating on Wednesday I believe.

No biggy, I told my parents I don't really need anything. They do know that I'll need money next semester, and my tuition/fees bill paid ($2k), but I believe I'll be getting a couple of small things still. Probably will get stuff like clothes or things I need for my car I'd imagine. Which works for me, I don't wanna spend my $ on clothes! And probably gift certs or money from grandparents and/or relatives.

But I got a few things for myself... managed like my highest GPA ever in college (was 1% short from a A in one class, which would've gave me a straight 4.0), and found this old laptop at my buddy's that his old roommate left. It doesn't work, but very good chance the power jack needs to be replaced, and possibly the battery then since it is completely dead. Cel 650mhz, 256+ ram, 20 GB hard drive. Woot!! Laptop for $75 (IF it is just the power jack and battery, otherwise don't want to put any more money into it) tops. Hell yeah.
