yeah good luck getting him now that he fled the country. HE is NEVER going to be charged with anything.

This story is one reason i would never go to Aruba (not the murder that happens everywhere) but the fact that the police and Judaical system is so inept.

When i went there in June, I did not hear 1 thing about this missing chick at all. I asked the person at our hotel if people cancelled after the girl went missing. She said about 3 reservations were cancelled. That's not much at all IMO. Aruba still has its reputation. I hope actually this makes its reputation worse so that less and less people will actually go there and it doesn't ever become like Cancun or the Bahamas.

well considering they had a reputation as NEVER having anything happan at all. then this with it being plasterd all over the news. While it is still safe (what are the odds on you getting killed anyway) it does not have the reputation they had before.

I think the inablity to charge the guy who did it and the bungling of the police did more harm then the actual murder.

I am not trying to defend her actions but there are 2 sides to every story. The mother of one of the boys accused of being involved admitted on tape that he lied. She tried to stop them from airing the tape but that didn't happen.
