There wasn't a terrorist threat when the Democratic convention ended last summer either -- but that didn't stop Bush and his accomplises from digging up years old information and making one up.

Hey, that sounds sort of like what they did with Iraq. Dig up old intel, "re-exaimine" it, and tailor it to fit their needs. These people are a one trick pony and the American people are no longer bright enough to figure the trick out.

haha, that reminds me of a South Park episode where a volcano near the city was going to erupt. They had a video that showed how you could fend off the lava if you needed to. If you put your head between your knees, the lava would flow right over you and not hurt you!

Here's something from DU on how Talon News, GOPUSA, BushCountry, etc. were major sources of the terrorist "noise" we kept hearing about that triggered those fabricated Homeland Security threats.

Like...

1. WMD's are just waiting to be found somewhere in Iraq (or NK or Iran or any other country that is convenient to accuse)
2. Syria and Iran funnelling arms to Al Queda, especially sophisticated Kornet Anti-Tank missiles that just happen to be rare as rooster eggs even in Russia
3. everyone wants to be able to pray in public schools to Bush's god (as opposed to the God that people choose because they have freedom of religion)
4. the war on terror is not a war on islam
5. Osama is alive and well and (only) posts videoes before important US elections to remind the world he is coming for them
6. two million Shiite Iranians came across the porous US/UK security on the border to vote in the Iraqi elections
7. Saddam is still a threat to world peace if we release him according to international laws and treaties that govern conduct during and after war

It gets weirder everyday with this administration.
