Whatever happened to UO2: Origin?

I was just wonder why I haven't heard anything about it. The movies looked really cool.

They gave up and decided it would be best to implement as much of that technology as possible in a product with an existing base, Ultima Online 1.

And now we have UO 3rd Dawn or something. If you're still playing this game, you need your head examined. Customer support, stability, performance, features, everything are horrible. Go play Asheron's Call. For a game run by MS, the customer support and quality is far exceeds expectations. AC blows everything else out of the water.

UO is dead. It's been dead ever since EA took over OSI and fired the company's founders.

Personally, I'm waiting for Neverwinter Nights by Bioware. It is not quite a MMORPG but that depends on how many people link servers together.

I eBay'd my coupy of Ac before the free month had expired...thought it had a lot to offer with regards to character creation (ability to mold the attributes and assign exp. where you want it, etc, etc), but I thought the graphics were inferior to EQ, game play, the fact that you don;t actually see yourself hitting them MOBS...etc...


In any event, I, too, was really looking forward to UO2 Now I hope Horizons is able to deliver next year.
