Whatever shall I do?

I got an e-mail today stating: "Somebody has a crush on you"

I read the e-mail and it clearly states that it's not spam. That someone actually entered my e-mail address in their web site. Now, the dilema comes when I click on the link that the e-mail came in. It brings me to a page where I enter names and e-mail addresses of people I may have a crush on. The real problem is that I don't really have a crush on anyone and any e-mail addresses I put in there would pretty much be there for the sole purpose of figuring out who this person is. If I do this and they are the one that sent it, they get an e-mail saying that it's a match. If they aren't the person, they get an e-mail saying someone has a crush on them. I would rather either one not happen. I have interest in a couple of women, but nothing to the point where I would imagine it's mutual. I actually think I know who it is, but I can't really enter her e-mail into the site because I don't want her to get the wrong idea. I know someone who does like me, but I have no interest in her. I REALLY want to know who the hell this person is, though. This is going to drive me insane. While it's not a far trip, I'm not sure this is the route I'd like to go. *sigh* Any ideas?

just make a new email account and then type that address into the box of people u have a crush on. Then maybe it will let u see who has a crush on you.

just ask everyone (female) you know for their email addresses. Then see who acts funny because she thinks you're going to be using it for the website, and bingo.

I got one of those emails as well.

I clicked on it and saw that you had to enter more emails, and then ignored it.

Although it does make you think about who put my email address in this thing

If you do a search you will find several threads about this being a scam, all they want is more email addresses. You got one because some you now added yours to their list.

I got one recently that I think is a spammer fishing for valid addresses, check it out.

Look at the advertisement at the bottom.
I guess they want me to reply saying that it is the wrong address, but I'm sure it will just result in my email being verified for spamming.

if this is crushlink.com you can fight the spammer and enter fake email addresses. after you enter some they give you &quot;clues&quot;. things like.. the person's last name has 5 letters
you can get 2 clues like this. the 1st one takes maybe 6 addresses. the 2nd takes about 20 more? (yes i was very bored that day)

you can get a thrid one by subscribing to spam, i just used my junk email address for this. apparently you can get a 4th one..but by that time i had found something else to do

Sure thing, but you don't have to be a d!ck. Maybe it wasn't too clear in the post, but I'm really not thinking too much about this. It's just weird. I've never gotten this so called &quot;spam&quot; before. It was more just a funny thing that happened to me because it sort of plays with your mind. I appreciate anyone who actually wrote a good reply for me without feeling the need to insult me, which frankly, wasn't really necessary. Maybe it's my fault for the way it was written, but maybe you guys need to take what you read on the net without the serious attitude.
