Really, there are no good bands like the Chili Peppers. About a million bands have tried to cop their sound over the years but nobody's ever done it very well - sort of like REM I guess.

Some of early Incubus is somewhat like RHCP.

Check out S.C.I.E.N.C.E.

Foo Fighters are kinda similar in some ways...both bands churn out catchy tunes.

Early Incubus to early RHCP. Not all the songs on that CD, but some of them have a funk base to them.

Comparing RHCP to another band is like comparing black to white.... Dont get me wrong, im a fan of Beatles, Rolling Stones, etc... but RHCP clearly has a universal style/sound to them and thats why they are my favorite band.

Jane's Addiction is really the only band that reminds me of RHCP and I don't like either of them.
