IMO, you could have probably saved money in the long run with the Weber Q100 because it is small, and presumably uses less propane to heat up and cook.
Probably plenty of cooking for surface for two adults, or two adults and two kids.
I get one of these every year and leave it outside all winter. When the burner doesn't throw a good flame anymore, just buy a whole new grill. Kinda of annoying building it, but I'm getting quick at it.

We can get three or four grillings out of one tank, and there are 2 in each pack. So it's about a month's worth of cooking out for $5. (Cooking for two, this is-- we had a cookout a few weekends ago where the grill was running pretty steadily for a few hours, and that used up a good part of a tank on its own.)
