what's a good and easy way (i'm talking bachelor-pad style) to spice up your MASHED POTATOES?

Diced garlic is my favourite, however I recently heard that if you mash them with olive oil it is good, never tried it, but I'm going to.

Well I recently tried using some Lemon Juice with some Club House "Roasted Garlic & Peppers" Spice, turned out great if you want a healthier topping rather than sour cream..

first off, you should use Russet potatoes with the skins on. If you have never tried this, you don't know what you are missing.

Then throw in whatever you like. I use some sour creme, garlic and some creme of mushroom & garlic soup.

Mashing some Turnip and mixing it in is good too. Dill also adds some yummy to it.

Another suggestion, just salt/pepper it, then use it as a bed for he rest of the meal. Fry up a steak/pork chop(ground beef, stew beef, or even chicken also works), add some onions and peppers and dump it all including the juice ontop of the potatoes. Adding a sauce into the cooking meat will give extra juice and end up like a gravy when it mixes in with the other juices. I used to do this a lot with potatoes and rice, very easy and tasty.

Or some peas or some corn. Used to be the only way I'd eat veggies as a kid.
