Really for a tool that only has one purpose and won't be used much it makes pretty good sense to go with something from harbor freight. If this is something you will use often either on a job or at home, then it makes sense to pay the extra money for quality the first time. That being said, the only electric impact gun I have ever used was at my old job at a salvage yard. It was a 12v Snap-On, and handled every reasonable task I threw at it. Being Snap-On it was horribly overpriced, but I saw it take a substantial amount of abuse and still function properly, I worked there 2 years and it was used extensively every day and was always reliable.
