My uncle is a butcher and he does this all the time for people.

Someone needs to come up with refrigerated shipping...

How? Like with blocks of ice? Anyone know where to get bulk ice, like 10lbs? Snowman shaped?

I need a Duratec size slab for my Taurus...

Is calf sized, like veal big enough, or do I need a bull?

PS - The alternator is still good, so I will not need the alternator slab

This thread is about bulk beef, about the size of an alternator, not about bulk ice, bacon, bacon wrapped beef, Donald Trump... Stay on topic, We must get the man his meat!!!

Using my "holy hell, that's impressive" knowledge of physics:

Throwing an alternater at the side of a live cow will create an equal and opposite reaction. Yes, you guessed it: An alternator-sized AND shaped piece of meat will fly off the other side of the cow.

Am I the only smart one here?

Chicken have feets... not hooves... You want to see cow hanging, get a copy of Rocky Balboa or First Rocky or Blade.

Has anyone stated yet that 10 lbs is not bulk, any supermarket will sell you a 20lb piece of beef the size of a lawnmower engine.

You are clearly not taking into account that metal and beef have a much different mass. It is impossible for a 20lb lawnmower motor to be the same size as 20lbs of beef.

You just stated that metal and beef have a different mass, and then listed two equivalent masses of each substance I know that bulk properties can be confusing (especially when it comes to beef), and that the archaic english system can present challenges which the metric system surmounts, but please try to leave such rudimentary errors out of your online postings from now on, lest we drive bulk beef buyers to offline sources.

Mass != size.

The online bulk beef fight goes on!

Whatever happened to peoplez going to teh butcher?? Online beef??

Yea, I'm thinking of going to the butcher, but why put in an unnecessary middleman? I'm seriously thinking about going straight to the farmer, but don't know what prices would be. Would they be less than a dollar, more, what?

So if you buy some mystery beef online there is no middleman ...who the hell is selling it,not the farmer who raised it...

I think your asking for trouble buying beef online....

so if lined up like 50 cows and threw one Alternator at the first in the line would you get 50 alternator sized beef chunks?

I think it has been established when it comes to beef, 10lbs is definitely NOT bulk.
