What's a good Windows SSH Client?

Any recommendations for a good Windows SSH Client? I have been using Putty but would like to try something better out there.

What specifically is wrong with putty? You could always use cygwin ssh from cmd. The only others that can think of is the one from SSH.com and SecureCRT, but AFAIK both cost money and IMO aren't worth it.

I love SCRT ... I've paid the ~$99.00 for each of the last three major revs and will probably pay again for the next three .... it's great software.

Second to that, I still have the (old version) free version that ssh.com used to license for personal use. It's also pretty good.

I'm not too fond of PuTTY, it's part of the standard load at work, and does OK ... but SCRT handles SSH, Telnet, Serial, TAPI ... the works - one client. I like it.

SCRT version 5 offers tabs (or not, you choose per screen); that's a good feature for me because it's frequently necessary to have four or five screens open at the same time, and still have some desktop for the other apps.

That's what 'screen' is for. =)

And screen has the added benefit of staying alive if you disconnect from the server it's running on, so if you ssh into one server, run screen and then ssh into everything else from screen you can have your workstation blow up and not affect your screen session. Just ssh back into that server and run 'screen -r' and you're reattached to that session.

putty is much better when combined with the systray app and lots of sessions, or portaputty on a thumbdrive (that's what I carry on my keychain)

It's not that Putty is so bad or wrong for that matter, but I was just wanting something different and thought I'd ask. Sometimes I find different flavors of software that I just like better personally

Example, all my friends use FTP Pro but I personally prefer CuteFTP Pro. Does the job just the same, but I just like it better ya know.

Speaking of CuteFTP, I hate that POS. Maybe it's been fixed, but the last time I used it to transfer thousands of files it would go slow as hell and use 100% CPU for no good reason.

We've been using SecureCRT.
Besides the tabs, you get to log your session into a text file. That way, you can easily save the switch / router config by doing a show run w/o having to copy the file through network.
