What's a legit tech from a movie you'd like to have?

Not the Death Star. Something that might be feasible within a certain time frame.

I want those drones from Prometheus that can map caves (or whatever) and give you a 3d image of what they've discovered. Crappy movie, cool drones. I don't really NEED them. I would just like to play with them. You know - send them into dark places and see what comes up.

And wasn't there a Bond movie that had a remote control car? Definitely could have some fun with that. But they probably have that already.

You missed my rule at the beginning, man.

Besides - you know how much maintenance a Death Star would require? The scope of the bureaucracy needed to run manage tens of thousands of employees to run the thing? It would be more of a pain in the ass than a fun toy.

And Star Wars areas are much smaller than our real one. It would take 1000's of your lifetimes to get to an actual planet you want to blow up just for fun.

It's not like TFA awakens were all the people look up and see the planet explode (That happened, right? I can barely remember).
