Type "a motheroard" it will use "all the web." Type "e motherboard" will search ebay. There are a ton more options. Also, right click on a word in a web page and you can look up that word in the dictionary or do a search.

you took the words right out of my mouth. opera is the greatest.

There are few things I hate more than a web page that automatically maximizes my browser window.

Why do you hate it? I think people like it because then the whole page with all the content fits on a single screen at a resolution of atleast 800x600 or 1024x768 or higher.

I hate it because it maximumizes my window and leaves it that way from then on in. If I want my f**king browser window that big, I'll do it myself. But I sure as heck don't want to have to manually reset it to the smaller size I want because your damn site assumes I want it permanently enlarged.

(Non-XP users click here) The TweakUI utility allows you to customize your Windows environment. One of its great features is the ability to create custom search prefixes in IE, similar to what OTR mentioned in Opera. I've set up various prefixes that allow me to search using google web search, google usenet search, dictionary.com, etc. For example, if I want to look up the definition for facetious, I'd just type "d facetious" in my address bar, hit Enter, and have the dictionary.com definition page of facetious returned. It's a great convenience. I can't imagine going back to the days when I didn't have it.

Yeah I use this all the time. Another way to do this is to use IE webtools (find it on the MS Intenet Explorer home page). Once installed basically you go to "links" and set up a prefixes after clicking "quicksearch.exe" for any site you want and you're set. I personally prefer not having anything installed to do this (webtools and TweakUI are from Microsoft and are optional components of IE and Windows respectively).

You have nice page it's very simple and easily navigable, but I have to agree with pspada on this. It is especially bothersome because the content seems to only need about 800X600 pixels. It is completely pointless to have it maximize on even my modest 17" screen running at 1024X1280. There are lots of people runnning 1600x1200 and even more these days, and it would even more bothersome on those screens.

Seriously! I would rather close 10 popup/popunder windows (assuming I were lame enough to allow them to pop up to begin with), then deal with your site, Mr Maximum Window Nazi.

But I can understand your fasination with 'em, as they are standard fare on porn sites.
