What's difference between Chenming, Chieftec, Supertalent cases?

You know those same cases keep popping up everywhere. The green/blue/black/silver/red/yellow cases with the side window. They all look the same and are claimed to be made by all these different companies. Are they all the same or are there minor differences? Same can be said for other cases and companies.

Generally speaking, Chenming is the original manufacturer and supplies these cases to these other companies. You might also find them labeled Uneec.

So these other companies aren't really manufacturers then? They're just calling someone else's case their own? I just want to make sure there's no difference between them all. They look the same, but i'm not sure if there's some minor difference. Some sites don't state all the details about the cases so it's hard to compare.

Chenming sometimes does make them a little differently for some of the vendors, some of whom may have different specifications I've seen different front covers, different front cover doors, etc. You'd have to see the specs or a detailed photo to know which are identical.

The case differences are minor, however, the PSU are rally different. (since Chemming is also making antec stuff)

Yeh, be careful with psu's from any marketing firm other than Antec. They're not universally crap, but some definitely are. Know what you're buying- a case isn't any better than the psu inside....

You can often get tese cases without a power supply if you wish.

a lot of coolermaster and antec cases also use the same chieftec chassis, and just do a different external design. imo a good setup, large economies of scale with a VERY good design of chassis, also available in many varied styles. on all of them you'll notice "chieftec" printed on the drive rails.

so basically the chassis is the exact same for them all (ignoring there being a steel & alu version), the externals however might be modded or all made by other company, psu would also be provided by other company.
