I'm just starting itt, so nothing disturbing has happened yet. It's well written though, easy to read.

I'm waiting on my "for fun" reading as I'm at school again, but I would be reading "Dracula" by Bram Stroker.
Right now, I'm reading "Leviathan" by Thomas Hobbes. I think the next thing I'll be reading some stuff by Rousseau....

Rousseau! Thanks for reminding me! I got The Social Contract and Discourse on the Origin of Inequality at the library bookstore a few weeks ago but put it away and forgot about it! While I went back to find it, I also saw two more books I got and forgot I was going to read (Rabbit, Run and Future Shock).
Anybody read any of these? or  ?

Only on about 500 of 1200 pages of Atlas Shrugged, but I like it a lot. Definitely read it.

My sister is reading this and said it was good, too. Alas, I have a half dozen other books to read in my free time. My friend says that Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea is "excellent," so I'll pilfer it from him at some point.

I just finished Another Roadside Attraction by Tom Robbins- Really an underrated book.
I'm debating whether to start The Brothers Karamazov by Dostoevsky before I go back to all the hoopla of school. If anything I'll more likely start reading ahead for Organic Chem and Calculus.

The Bonehunters by Steven Erikson. Absolutely fantastic book.
Comparably, I'd say The Malazan Book of the Fallen series is as good if not better than Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series.
