i like calamari as much as the next guy, but that's not how I want my calamari presented.
That was $1 addon. Can't complain. They give you tongs, scissors, and another bowl to cut it up yourself. And chili paste sauce for dipping.

Me too, but I keep expecting a miniature Captain Nemo to show up in the pic.
Tomorrow I plan to eat massive seafood soup with live octopus and bunch of other live shellfish added. The previous night I ate about $500 of Hanwoo beef bbq, both raw and cooked. It was glorious.
I had a local father-in-law used to just chop off a leg to chew on and have it flipping around on his face when we'd go spear fishing for octopus on the reef for em in Hawaii.
Was pretty funny, I was never that hard core myself
Used to do a lot of things along those lines there, ran lobsters nets and his son and I did the diving end. He stayed in the boat or just walked on the reef with boots, he grew up there and was around the water a lot and never learned to swim.
That isn't food, That's garbage.
Was a hell of a lot better than that shit!
And it wasn't a Chinese restaurant. I guess I should say, "Asian restaurant?" They have Chinese, Japanese, and Thai.
