Veal cordon blue with roasted potatoes, a nice German Weiss beer (st benedict?) And a shoot of mamajuana for desert at a Swiss restaurant in Sosua, the food in DR is good and cheap
Cruise ships are stopping at Puerto Plata now, went to Columbus first settlement in North America at La isabella, very interesting. They've cleaned the north coast up quite a bit since the last time I was here, but it's also election season here now...
Have hit the Haiti a few times, but was just on large Royal Caribbean ships att on their private beach, we've been on many RC cruises in the past in various areas, pretty most most of the Caribbean on even other cruise lines and Alaska.
I always wanted to do some of the Viking European river cruises and one of the ones we never have done.
