St Pat's Day special. Daughter, Daughter in law and Sister all dropped off C-Beef & cabbage for the old man. Daughters's were delish. Last night was Sister's. I portioned it and thought "Did she use beer in recipe?" I started to heat plate, hesitated and started again. I had to stop as the stench of used socks permeated house. I tossed down disposal and thought I was done but I had to spray house with Febreze to quell stench.

leftovers tonight.

yesterday I roasted chicken, potatoes, and carrots with a glaze I made using olive oil, brown sugar, ranch dressing mix, and garlic/salt/pepper... ended up being pretty good.

the recipe called for the ranch dressing powder, though I'd probably leave it out if I were to make it again and just use garlic/onion powders and parsley instead.

Quarter spiral ham and mashed potatoes tonight. Usually have leftovers but i'm going out tomorrow so I will make leftover ham and eggs for the GF saturday morning.

Pan fried salmon that has been salt curing for a few hours. Then made dashi and put salmon in soup with steamed rice.

I'm in the mood for Thai food. I think when I get payed I'm going to check out one of the Thai restaurants here in town I read about in the paper. They both have good ratings.

Will have a generous slice of quiche with spinach and mushrooms from Whole Foods. For sides there will be homemade wheatberry salad and some steak fries. An appetizer strawberries and banana. Dessert will be a slice of blueberry swirl cake.
