Pierogies and caramelized onions. My god, my house smells so good right now. I just want to take all the sweet onions I have in the house, fry them in butter and then roll around in them naked.
I love Pierogies! Once in a while I make them. Do you make your own or do you buy them already made?
no source? That's a big plate! A sirloin steak, two pork steaks, four lamb chops, 6 sausages, 3 kidneys some grilled tomatoes and mushroom.

Had nice 7 course meal last night with some tuna, quail, lobster, and beef short ribs. One of the better meals I've had.
Is this one just a pita chip with a blob of lettuce and a meatball?
Pretty sure that's a god damn snowman! Is this one just a pita chip with a blob of lettuce and a meatball?
That was lot of food and I was stuffed by the end of the evening. It looks small in the pictures but the portions were generous and the chef sent couple more goodies and treats I forgot to take pictures of. Normally, I have to eat lot of bread to get full at fine dining restaurants but that wasn't the case here. I actually turned down offers for more bread since I was worried I wouldn't be able to finish everything. And the food was excellent. Many times, the food taste doesn't match the presentation but that wasn't the case last night.@ponyo I have seen the piles o' que in other thread and now you show a smattering of smeared dishes with hints of food and say best in a while? You have an eclectic appetite.
I just enjoy food. I'm not picky and will eat just about anything as long as it's good.Ponyo is trying to make the Michelin restaurant guide obsolete. (Or maybe he actually works for them?)
That pita chip is actually handcrafted cuatro encinos cheese I think they made in-house along with guava-mezcal, Baja California olive oil, and dark pecan bread. Is this one just a pita chip with a blob of lettuce and a meatball?
And this is why you would be better source of information than the Michelin guide. You don't have that pretentiousness that you get with being an institution.I just enjoy food. I'm not picky and will eat just about anything as long as it's good.
.
What's the price on one of those? I was latchkey kid growing up and remember eating Hungry-Man. TV dinner like that was special treat and welcome break from instant ramen meals. If I can't take leftovers, then I might be treating myself to this tonight:
