whats going wrong with o/c?

whats worng with o/c ?
ive tried upping fsb up from 133 but it wont hold when i benchmark
when i try to run at 166 fsb (so 1/5 divider kicks in) windows gets fatal errors and shuts down (blue screen in xp)
i have a soyo dragon kt333 lite
xp 1900 (agoga)
corsair xms pc-3000
allied 350 watt psu
80 gb western digital hdd
old radeon 32 mb ddr vid card
a nic card
my cpu temps seem a bit low
hardwaremonitor
i have nice hs/f its a dr thermal se with a vantec tornado on top...
and about 5 case fans and good air flow
my ddr currently runs at 166 when fsb isnt bumped up
when i try to overclock i set it back down to 133(+whatever fsb change)
my 5v is 4.97 not overclocked so psu looks okay
my cpu looks cool enough, but that temp looks wrong
whats going wrong with my o/cin?

if the 1900+ AGOGA isnt multiplier unlocked then your trying to overclock it to 2000mhz if the multiplier is 12. that i dont feel is possible with your 1900+



if you want to run 166 bus then consider unlocking the processor or buying a processor that will run 166

sorry i didnt get what you just posted.
i dont have it currently unlocked
but i figure i should be able to at least get fsb up without it crashing

you are probably asking for too much of an overclock on the 1900 going from 133 to 166...you chip is rated at 1600mhz and you are asking it to do 2000 mhz(it may not be able to overclock this much)...if you unlock it you can lower the multiplier and maybe run at higher fsb

yea... and i believe i have an agoga core but i never checked b4 i sploshed on the as3 how can i make sure b4 i unlock i have an xp that just needs L1 bridges connected and one where no cutting is necessary (its green if that helps )
and also with volt/multi meter someone told me to set it to the horshoe looking setting to check resistance? is this right and if so what setting 200, 2000, 20k, 200k, or 2000k and what should be reading across L1 bridges if succesfully unlocked
