The Corporate Initiatives Group is seeking a Program Manager Intern to work with the Director of Global Delivery. This position would focus on driving efficiencies within the Business Unit IT (BUIT) groups and building the scorecard for Global Delivery.
The BUIT groups create business applications that support key parts of Microsoft?s organization like Sales and Marketing, HR, Finance etc. The Global Delivery group provides strategic direction on vendor selection and recommendations on offshoring/on shoring of projects within the BUIT?s.
The Corporate Initiatives Group will drive strategy, policy and process initiatives across the BUIT?s .
Core Job Responsibilities:
? Assist in prioritizing BUIT pain points and make recommendations on improving efficiencies and reducing cost in the BUIT groups. Specifically, this position will focus on:
o Analysis on Vendor Management process, measures and issues and provide recommendations
o Analysis of our Global Delivery model and make recommendations for efficiencies
o Support the key Vendor relationships and assist in resolving issues
? Assist in the planning and tracking of small scale projects
? Develop process flows and other documentation to describe complex processes. Define metrics to measure current performance
? Assist in improving the dashboard of metrics important to manage the Global Delivery business
