What's my best AGP upgrade?

I currently have a radeon 9550 with an Athlon 64 3000+ and 1gb of ram, running windows xp 32bit.
I also have a 350W Antec power supply with +12V and 21A ratings.
I will be building a new system in a few months but in the meantime I wanted to play some more current games so I was thinking of buying a used video card.
What would my best AGP option be?

The 7600GT or the X1650 would be my suggestions, how long do you plan on using this system though?

Well there are currently like 4 or 5 AGP threads and a lot more suggestions, I suggest reading up on those before making your final choice ^^

yeah i saw those but the thing is i think i'm a bit limited by my power supply and don't wanna upgrade that too.

If you don't have a lot of power-consuming equipment, I think you could have a good video-card, an AGP Geforce 7900 GS ,for instance, uses about 82 W on max.

Use a PSU-Calculator to find out how much free power there is for a video card:
This for instance:

I tried that PSU-calculator and the result was 176 W without a video card. So with my 350 W PSU that should give me 174 W free for a video card if I am not mistaken..

7600gt has very low power consumption. Should be able to grab one for 120.00$ or less. It will triple your game performance.
