once women enter their 30s the risks for birth problems greatly increase. For men, I think just about anytime is fine. My dad is 67 and I am 25 and it was fine.
You are starting a little late there bud, Im 24 (25 in DEC) and already have my first. If you are going to do it you need to do it now, assuming your wife is mid 30's or less (thats even high risk)
