What's the best book to look int for A+ certification?

I used Mike Meyer's book and didn't have any trouble:

thats a good book to pass the test. i used that book.

but if you wanna truly understand the hardware, i recommend also this book by scott mueller.
i read the 14th edition, but the 15th edition is out now.

upgrading and repairing pcs , its a chunky book , but it goes through hardware like you wouldn't believe. this book will make you a hardware guru, like me. =)

for network+, im also david groth network study guide to pass the test. but reading upgrading and repairing networks 4th edition, good hardcore stuff.

i have mike meyers book

good one...but he states how deadly working on monitors is, and then gives steps on how to start...

i think hes nuts...and his drawing skills...he just shouldnt draw.

I used Mike Meyers' All in One book, together with Boson's practice test questions.

That Mueller book is unbelievably thorough. I can't imagine actually memorizing most of the stuff in there, but if you run into older hardware that you're not immediately familiar with, it's a great reference.

The Meuller book is the bible for PC repair, etc. Buy it.

FYI: The test is going to be updated like on November 15, so it will be more current and will no longer have any DOS questions, but more with 2000 and XP questions in the OS part.

whats the most updated version of the book for the new test? I just signed up for the Feb Test. He said they are changing to the 2003 test at the end of december.
