What exactly am i looking at?

Whatever it is, I wouldn't eat it just by how it looks. The potato looking shit on the side looks especially nasty. And that's no easy task when it's next to what looks like a boars head.

lol nasty it's half a sheep's head

by nasty i mean i'm sure it tastes great, but looks not so awesome

This small place in hawaii (oahu) called miki's in Pearl City. Used to go there at night at least 2-3 days a week for years....loved the kalua pig!

Most memorable I've ever had was sushi with a friend at some hole in the wall in Toronto. Freshest tasting sushi I've ever head.

Best meal was after going deep sea fishing, my mom fried a few snapper filets and I grilled one, that was DAMN good.

This February I was treated to an exquisite meal at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort in St Petersburg Fl.

Marchand's Bar and Grill

They had the best Manhattan?s, prawns & steaks imaginable.

In January I treated my wife to a great meal at Charlie's in Orlando.

Both great dining places.

Best meal I've ever had was at The French Laundry in Yountville, CA. I still fantasize about dishes there and stare through the cookbook all the time.

Most memorable meal was at El Bulli in Roses, Spain, a little while outside Barcelona. Mainly because we had to go so far to get there and all of the different things we encountered on the way there, during the meal, and on the way back. Most of the dishes did not taste as good as the ones at TFL, but the whole experience was amazing.

That's correct on both counts. You can see pics of almost every dish we had through my Facebook if you feel like looking.

I forgot where, but it was an Indian place in NYC.

The tab was ridiculous, but the food was AMAZING. I've become addicted to Lamb Curry, Chicken Tikka Masala, and so many things I don't remember or can pronounce..

Drool...

Crazy ass luck to be honest. I e-mailed at midnight on the first night you are allowed to do so, giving them a range of dates, and I got an e-mail back about 2 months later saying I got in. Unfortunately, my boss at the time was a douchebag and would not let me go since it was a Quarter-end.

I e-mailed back saying unfortunately I could not make it, but to please keep us in mind in case there was a cancellation. Lo and behold they e-mailed me back about 6 or 7 weeks later and said someone cancelled and they had a date available, so I snapped it up and we booked our vacation. Was so very, very lucky.

Well I bought a cookbook and we also bought 2 plates. I think it was around 500 Euros for the 2 of us. I have the bill at home, so if you really want to know I can post it later (assuming I can find it).
