What's the best way to get a bunch of spyware and viruses?

We want to test out some software (Malware Bytes, Super AntiSPyware, etc) and see how well they do. I want to purposefully infect some machines with Antivirus 2009/2001, XP Police, and whatever other things are common these days.

Anyone know the easiest way to get yourself infected? It kind of goes against everything I know so not sure on the best way. Just need a few of the most common spyware type programs of today...

open every popup that says you are the xxxx visitor and you have won.

go to limewire, search for some soft, and download the files that are really small in size, like KB, which can't be the software.

I would totally agree on the Limeware results which are in kb's! I was once stupid enough to download one of those small files...geez!

I'm surprised no one mentioned it. Just use IE on a WinXP pre SP1 box. IF you have no firewall or enterprise level protection you will get something in short order.


But like others have said, search for pr0n and you will get all the virii and malware you could ever want.

But to make it go wuicker, just have a regular user use the computer for a day. They seem to be experts and getting infected.

Connect directly to the internet with no AV installed. You'll get port-scanned and humped pretty quick.
