Which barbaric heathen god is this? Some sort of Aztec deity?
the Bible you heathen!
it specifically says Jesus ate his Pizza cold because microwaves back then didn't have the reheat pizza button.

see how much we have advanced in the last couple of millennia, all thanks to our skygod.
(Also, chicken nugget reheat button. praise jeebus!)

Oh, sure, the feeble deity can multiply fishes and loaves but has to make do with cold pizza? Yeah, not buying it, SATAN!

The ancient and powerful god of American white trash. Seriously though, I don't know how bound it is by region or socioeconomic strata, but cold leftover pizza straight out of the refrigerator was a perfectly normal breakfast food growing up. I mean, it was a treat. But not one that was considered weird. The googles seem to suggest that my family and the circles we ran in were not alone in this regard.

Alright, then how else am I supposed to cook raw chicken?
I wouldn't recommend it, but in bowl, wrapped with a hole poked, 15 minutes at half power. Let sit for 5. This will be better than <anyvalue> at full power, but not as good as an oven/pan.

It'll come out better just baking it in the oven for 25. Microwave's aren't great with heating generally.

I am, of course, employing hyperbole. I've eaten it that way, but I'm aware that it's an inferior delivery method. It means I'm too damn lazy to heat it up, I just want food now. My kid actually prefers his leftover pizza cold, and I mock him the same way I'm mocking you savages

Uh sure, nobody should ever microwave anything but soup at full power for more than 30 seconds.
I do everything at high power 100% of the time. I have a low power microwave, so it makes it easy to adjust time. Takes longer, but less chance of having the delightful combo of crunchy ice at one side, and magma on the other.

I have a ceramic plate that gets hot in the microwave. I nuke it for 30 seconds and then put the slice on it and nuke some more until the cheese melts.

De-soggies the crust.

Depends on the style of pizza and how long it was baked. If pizza is overbaked the first time, reheating it will be even worse than it would be otherwise.

A lot of people try to rehydrate the cheese since it loses water the first bake. I don't bother. I just heat up my oven with my pizza stone. Once it's good and hot, I put the pizza on the stone and bake for 3-4 minutes at 450 degrees. I have a natural gas range with convection.

The best way to reheat pizza is by first putting it into the microwave and leave it in there till it reaches room temprature. Then place it into the front load toaster oven.

  1. Put pan in oven
  2. Preheat oven to 450*F
  3. Remove pan from oven and load pizza
  4. Put pan back in oven and set timer for 8 minutes
  5. Remove at 8 minutes and enjoy.
It's the best method because the crust gets crispy on the bottom again and you can reheat a fair amount of pizza, say a half pizza, easily.

That's how I prepare a refrigerated bagel. I slice it horizontally in 3rds, then place on plate, microwave for 20 seconds, remove to toaster oven and toast to my preferred shade of brown.

Kaido's method works.

i must, however, question how there can exist such a thing as "leftover pizza". Leftover means you didn't eat it. Are you saying you had pizza, and did not eat it? what kind of a monster are you ?!
