Please tell me how, then! I tried to do it, but it won't even take any numbers punched in. It seems I can only do it if it has all available channels in my region displayed. However, it won't allow any channels to be listed without subscription. Maybe I'm just so confused. I might be motivated to look for other options, such as modding the device for other purposes. However, I'll try to manually record again to see if it works this time, since you say it should work without subscription.

Yes, I won it from the essay contest. I entered it during those days where everyone seemed to be winning. Who knows though . . . maybe I really won it on the merits of my essay.

Ionizer- I won the exact same stuff (from the internet-based contest). I already had an AMD 1800 proc + motherboard; never even took the new ones out of the boxes. Should have sold them... Still have them down in the basement somewhere.

I won a Michigan State University T-shirt my freshman year. Then, later that year, I won a GIANT MSU football jersey in a raffle in the cafeteria. I still have both of them, but that jersey is massive, so I don't wear it.

I also won a big golf umbrella once, but someone later stole it. I also won a remote car starter system w/installation from CarTunes back when those were going for about $300 installed for a basic one. That's all I can remember at the moment.
