What's the Cheapest Wireless Plan for iPad

What's the cheapest plan for wireless to get internet from iPad? Through what carrier? How much are you paying a month? I thought I heard someone in anandtech forum say 5 BUCKS A MONTH.... I am not sure if I heard that right. Can you confirm please.

Looks like I will be using up around 11GB/mo. Anyone?

WOW, that's amazing. Will it use up much bandwidth if I use outlook (aka hotmail) webmail?

If you visit same website it gets cached so it won't use up the bandwidth right?


And how much does tmobile charge for next level up?

That was probably either T-Mobile's Tzones or possibly Freedompop?

I'd stick with the free 200MB and Wifi whenever possible.

I used a bandwidth usage calculator for what I will be doing (*if* I get an iPad and wireless plan). I will be:

- Watching *a lot* of youtube, mostly standard def streaming which are 1~ 5 minute clips. Some HD streaming that are 1~ 5 minutes. I also upload my HD vids a few a month that are upto 5 minutes long.
- Browsing anandtech, overclock.net, apple ipad discussion forums.
- Checking emails at Netzero webmail account. No I don't download attachements, most are just messages.

That comes out about 11GB a month for bandwidth according to the calculator.

I'm broke because I spent all on power cables. But I do have money to buy an iPad Mini Retina for Christmas gift to my Dad. He'll want cellular. Since I'm broke I can't buy one for myself right now........ but maybe NEXT YEAR.

I will barely have enough money to pay all my utility bills, mortgage, and a credit card bill. But I won't have money to pay for internet... which is why I dropped my ISP (high speed cable) several months ago already. What makes you think I'll have money for wireless internet? ahhhhh ha ha ha ha ha hahahahahahaha

But, since I can't just stand back for the lulz, I'll just say that Sprint offers a 6GB a month plan for $50. AT&T are all 5GB for $50. TMobile is 4.7GB for $40. And you'll just have to top it off if you use up that much data in a given month.

Wow that's a lot of money.... 50 bucks? That's pushing it for me. D:

Oh well I go to my parents house to get free internet so I can do all the heavy downloads (HD files, bunch of torrents). I think the free one will work as I am busy listening to music when I get home from work during week days. Music listening straight 5 hours with two short breaks and a 30 min dinner. I won't need more than 15 minutes on internet browsing.
