I was driving down a 4-lane road and about 2-3 car lengths behind some compact-type car, riced out, had really low ground effects, etc. Well this cat, darts out from the far left side of the road, headed perpendicular to the direction we were headed, makes it across the oncoming traffic side, and into my lane, and right in front of the lowered ricer in front of me. Somehow, I guess due to the ricer being so low to the ground, the cat did not go under the car, but got turned around, and all of a sudden in an instant, the cat was again at full speed, but now headed back right to left, and I think he safely made it across the road to where he started. Seems he somehow was turned 180 degrees while being pushed along the road in front of the ricer, he was probably in front of the ricer for a second or two, then in his certain panic kept running full tilt, but was now facing towards the other side of the road, where he started from. I suppose he made it without serious injury, maybe some road rash.... lucky kitty.
