Well I'm driving down a road that runs parallel to Lake St. John with a few buds. It senior skip day at my high school and we're all a bit marinated. One daring guy decides he wants to hang out the door of my van while I drive down the road. we're all laughing and joking, I swerve the van a bit to spice things up. The door hanger asks the guy sitting nearest to him to remove his belt (dunno why). In the middle of this process door hanger falls off the van. I'm sitting there driving when all the sudden the guy sitting on the middle seat starts screaming for me to stop the van. "____ fell out", he says. At first I didn't believe him, if you knew this guy you wouldn't have immediately believed it either. You should note that we were going about 50mph when hanger fell.

The guy in the middle seat holds up the belt, which slipped from around hanger's waist as he fell and I finally believe him. I pull into a nearby driveway but miss the edge by a bit and end up getting stuck in the ditch. Doesn't matter though because my friends are already out and running back up the road to check on hanger.

When I caught up to them what I saw was one of my good friends covered in another of my good friend's blood. He was still alive and his breathing sounded like that of a badly shot deer. This is, without a doubt, the craziest thing I've ever seen.

As far as wrecks and stuff goes..

I saw a woman come hauling ass down a side street, doing 60 at least, run the stop sign, get slightly airborne, and crash into a 3/4 ton older Chevy truck. The car kept going into the high school across the road, and hit a pole, spin a couple of times and stop. The woman in the truck had her legs caught up in the brake and gas pedals, and both legs were broken, too. Those old trucks had the gas tank inside the cab (Who thought that up?) and she was covered in gas. The hood was stuck and there was a lot of smoke coming out. The woman in the truck was begging us not to let her burn up, and to pull her out the cab window before the truck caught on fire. Just as we were about to, the cops came, and took three big fire extinguishers and got the hood open and sprayed everything down. They used the jaws of life to get the woman in the truck out. She was all messed up. The woman driving the car was fine, not a scratch, until the cops told her she was under arrest for DUI, then she "collapsed". The hurt woman won a huge lawsuit against her a couple years later, and she got on TV, crying about how she "Lost everything" and made the same crazy claim she made the night of the wreck, that the truck didn't have it's lights on. It did, but she wouldn't ever have seen them anyway, as she was flying though the air at the point she might have seen it. If you live in Las Vegas, this was in front of Valley High School at Eastern and Harmon(might be wrong on the cross street).

A kind of funny one was I was on 475 in Toledo, and there was a kid driving a green Grand Am like a total buffoon. He was going about 90 or so when he flew past me. As he approached an area where there was traffic merging in on the right, some guy in the right lane started to change lanes when the guy in the Grand Am was right on top of him, and the moron in the Grand Am lost control and it went on it's side, sliding for a long time, then it hit an expansion joint, and did about 3 barrel rolls and would up sliding on the roof for a while before it stopped. About six cars, including me, pull over onto the shoulder to help him. He's yelling about his hand, and finally he crawls out the passenger side window, and he reaches out and some guy pulls his hand to help him get up, and we can all see why. His pinky, ring finger, and part of his palm on his left hand has been ground off! The cops and parmedics arrive, and shortly before they take him away, his mom, dad, and GF pull up, and the GF takes one look at his car, starts wailing, then sees him on the stretcher talking, and is overjoyed, then pukes when she sees his hand. He had his hand sticking out of the partially closed window as the car went on it's side, and the pavement ground it partway off.

Another thing was on one of the LA freeways. There was a guy driving really fast that passed me at about 100MPH. There was way too much traffic to do this, but he was changing lanes and cutting people off well enough to keep from crashing. He dissapeared into traffic after a while, and then suddenly traffic started backing up, and a large cloud of black smoke appeared off to the right. After the traffic started slowly moving, and we went around a right turn, there was a car visible, on fire. The fire trucks were just pulling up, and started spraying the car down. Inside was the charred corpse of the idiot that passed me earlier, he had been cut off, lost control and slammed into a sound barrier wall, and the car exploded. The news said later that night that he was "reportedly driving erractically before the accident!", Then they said he was concious. and screaming after the wreck and some guy was hurt trying to get him out of the car.

And one thing I didn't see, but sure wish I had. There was a girl I went to HS with, one of those perky cheerleader types, not the greatest looking, IMO anyway, but not replusive. She was STUPID though. And still is. She and her daughter were putting up a drapery rod, and she has to cut the end off to length with a sabre saw. Somehow she does, and completely cuts her hand off at the wrist too! I really don't understand how you can do this, a saw with a hacksaw type blade doesn't cut very quickly, and you would think it would hurt and she would stop pretty quickly, but it didn't. They reattached it, and it's nearly as good as ever.

yeah, that's what it it is.

and i guess to someone non-medical, backwards organs wouldn't really look too weird at all.
My mom has this, never knew it until she was about 30, right before I was born. She went in for an insurance physical when my dad and her got married, and the doctor says, "Well, you're one in a million!" When my grandmother had her gall bladder out a few years later, she had it too.

I'm "regular".
How can you not know? I mean, your heart is on your right, right?

I guess I would have to say cleaning up the mess left behind when my girlfriend's friend's boyfriend decided eating a bullet was the thing to do on a nice Sunday afternoon.

:Q

Why were you responsible for cleaning it up?

No one close to the guy could. I was disconnedted so I just went out on the back porch and cleaned up the mess when the police/coroner were done to spare them the pain and trouble.

You are a manly man.

Why? For doing what had to be done? Sometimes you just have to step up to the plate and do unpleasant things when there is no one else able to do so. No one said life was going to be fair or easy. You do what you have to do.

I just felt like saying "You are a manly man."

Thats all.

Additionally, you desrve a cookie for taking responsibility

1. I saw a kid folded in half on the sidewalk in a pool of blood. He had jumped from his dorm room window. His face was down in between his ankles and his arms were twitching.

2. A woman in hysterics came to my house (a trailer home in the woods at the time) she had just discovered the body of her husband who had committed suicide down the gravel road in a wooded area. The lady barfed in my yard. Later, after the sherriff took her and the dead guy away, my neighboors and I followed the trail of used rubber gloves left by the EMTs to a big nasty mess of blood and brains.

3. Some people brought a sick kitten into a vet hospital where I work. We took some X-rays and discovered that someone had rammed a bic pen all the way up its ass. The cat wasn't much longer than the pen. As I was taking their payment I overstepped my role as a technician to go tell the family that serial killers often start out doing stuff like that to animals. They suspected the daughter's boyfriend. People never fail to dissapoint me.

Seeing a guy jump off an I4 overpass in Lake Mary one morning into oncoming traffic.

That happened in Lake Mary, FL, near Orlando..... you actually saw that? I heard about that but didn't hear many details, just tidbits here and there from word-of-mouth.

Yea... Lake Mary FL... I4.... yes, I saw it. There wasn't much details, the guy apparently was going through divorce stuff, and he tried slitting his wrist at home but it didn't work the way he wanted. So he drove to the overpass (Exit 98 - Lake Mary) parked his SUV on the side of the rode and threw himself over the barrier. That ended that.... Apparently he bounced off 10 cars before he even hit the pavement.... And you know how I4 is, atleast 80mph :Q There was an interview with a guy who was on his way to work and said he felt a 'thump' while driving his truck but didn't think much of it. When he got to work he had the radio on and heard about the story, so he went back out to his truck and the bottom of his truck was a covered with blood. It was definitely the craziest thing I've ever seen without a doubt.

My brothers, a cousin, and I were out fishing. None of us could really swim. Two could dog paddle somewhat but that's it. I'm wearing a Jansport backpack that has our catches and bait. My cousin just caught the last fish so has the net. So as we're heading up stream, my brothers decide to cross a shallow part of the river. I told him not to but he does so anyway. One brother makes it across and the second slips on a rock and gets swept down stream. He's paddling to try and stay above water but keeps going under swallowing water each time. At that moment, my uncle who was in the Army was coming by to get us for lunch. He see what's going on and jumps in the water, but because my brother is scared, he starts to pull him under also. My uncle has him close to the bank but its still not shallow enough. My uncle starts to paddle out and my brother is about to go under. I run out to him and its still to deep for me. I'm about a forearms length from him, so I yell out to my cousin to give me the net. At this time, my feet aren't touching the earth but I'm floating thanks to the waterproof backback. My brother grabs onto the net and we pull him in.

Phew.

EDIT: The first thing my brother says is that he lost the fishing pole.

Question 1: What kind of idiot can't swim and doggie paddles?

Question 2. What kind of idiot, knowing he can't swim, jumps into a stream?

About 10 years ago I was on my way home north of Chicago from a trip to St. Louis. I was about 10 miles from home, after about 5.5 hours on the road, driving north on I94. It's about 11am on a Sunday morning, and traffic was unsually heavy, I don't remember, it might of been a holiday weekend.

Up aways there was a Grand Am parked on the median (always a bad idea) with 2 female adults in front, and three children in the back seat.

Meanwhile three guys in a late 70's model Z28, the driver driving like a total asshat, weaving in and out of traffic crazy fast. I was ahead of these guys back at the last toll booth (Deerfield, non existant now), however they got ahead of me through their foolish driving. This ass thought nothing of crossing all three lanes in his weaving.

If you are at all familiar with I294 / I94 you will know that normally the speeds driven on this road is 70 - 80 mph, much higher than the posted 55, however it is what it is. This day was no different. I can only guess that the Camero was doing 90+

When he came upon the Grand Am, and directly in front of me and my 12 yr old daughter, he had just completed one of those crossing of three lanes through the traffic, and clipped the front left corner of the Camero into the right rear corner of the Grand Am. This caused the entire driver side of the Camero to be ripped away, including the driver's door. This also caused the Camero to go into a crazy fast spin. The driver was wearing his seat belt and was being held into the car at the hips, however he was hanging out of the car by his hips while the car spun with his head banging over and over again against the pavement.

I pulled over to assist, and the see if I could help anyone. The driver was still alive, however in violent convulsions. Turns out him and his friends were mexican, and didn't speak English. Luckily in two different cars was a nurse and a doctor, someone else spoke Spanish, so I went to check on the Grand Am.

The Grand Am was in much better shape, as were its occupants. The two adult women were the Aunt and Grand Aunt of the three children in the back. The Grand Aunt was hyperventilating, and she was probably the worst off. The back window had shattered, and one of the little girls had a small cut on her face. While I was there checking them out, her mother arrived. This is why they were parked, as they had gotten ahead of a second vehicle. The mother went completely beserk, wanting to go kill the driver of the Z28. I calmed her down explaining that I truly believed he was already dead, and that his body just hadn't gotten the message yet, and that she would best be of service to her family if she calmed down and helped them. Luckily that brought her back to her senses.

I have to admit, that experiance did nothing for me expect make me paranoid of driving. I was lucky myself to have not been involved in that accident considering he served past me right before clipping the Grand Am, and starting his spin towards hell.

First , a guy I hung around with drove up to a young guy , asked if he had anything. The guy pulled out some coke and the guy in the car pulled a 38 and shot him in the face.He then drove off as if nothing happened.
Second , while watching two groups racing boats on choppy water back and forth , one of the boats , while coming back toward us, broke in half and killed three of the five people on board. That was like it was in slow motion. The girl in the front with the driver ate the windscren big time about 50 feet from the dock we were standing on. I just ahppened to be talking to someone with the coastguard reserve who had a houseboat there and had just said they were going to break one of the boats about 30-40 seconds before it happened.
Third , just recently , siting at an intersection at a red light , the second car coming through an intersection opposite my direction of travel got plowed by a hit and run driver. The vehicle that got hit was an old Mazda mid-size p/u and got hit by a full sized Explorer. It tore that truck up really badly. The Ford driver was doing about 45-50. He ht the gas immediately and was gone.
