Whats the deal here?

I was getting tired of all the noise my pc was making and looked inside the case to see what all the racket was. Well low and behold someone took the liberty of putting this big fan right in the middle on top of some metal thing with ridges on it. So i took the fan out of there so it wouldn't be so loud. For some reason now when i try to start my computer it just beeps and beeps. Whats the deal I'm desperate.

U cannot be serious. I hope it is April Fools Day in your world. Otherwise, I would suggest u not open a PC again. I feel like I'm being suckered into asking "Don't you know what/where your processor is and that it has to have a Heatsink and Fan on it?" But not to be a jerk incase this is an actual real post, u better put the fan back on. Its beeping cuz it thinks the fan is not working, and will not start till it is replaced.

?? Of course this is a real post. I tried to put the fan back on and plug it in but it still beeps. You think I may have messed up my operating system or something? Maybe its a virus.

It can't be a virus. They're not nearly strong enough to lift a fan, let alone get the case open. Are you sure this isn't a practical joke of some kind? There are practical jokers in the world... trust me on this one I bet one of 'em put that fan in there to bug you.

Didn't I see you posting in a thread meant for 'gurus' and crossing swords with some 'Derailer' or someone, as a lifer with more than 10000 posts to your name?Or was it some other MichaelID? If it was then it seems MichaelID is an inordinately popular ID on this forum or the ID filter is not very efficient.

Well from what I see, the other "Michael", has an "L" in his name/ that would be the lifer I believe.
Mech, too funny, but perhaps the newer strain of Virus's are "Lifting Weights"?
MichaeID, I hope you are Not doing these things with the fan, when the system is operating,and or plugged into the wall. That would be bad....
