What's the deal with dealspin.com?

Has anyone used or bought anything through dealspin.com? It looks like a cross between a auction/lottery/buying pool. However, they charge you for the ability to "spin" for your price? If you've used it, how good are the deals here? Or is this just another way to scam poor souls out of their money?

I dont know, sounds like a really stupid way to sell merch. I wouldnt play into anything like that, give me the numbers and I'll make my decision based upon the numbers, not some damn wheel on your site.
