Is it just a marketing term for a loosly defined bus, or is there something else? I know that HT buses are two-way with 2,4,8,16,or 32 data paths in each direction working at a maximum of 1.6 Gbit/sec. However, AMD says stuff about it being specifically low latency and low power. What factors determine the latency of a bus connection and how has AMD reduced the latency of HT?
