whats the diff between nforce4 ultra and nforce550

i am shopping for a am2 mb, it seems biostar is a nice brand for me, nice oc ability and friendly price tag. I noticed biostar nforce4 ultra is around $30 cheaper than their well-known tforce550. and the spec of the two mbs are pretty much the same except tforce550 has pata raid, which i dont really care anyway. So now the nforce4 ultra seems like a good deal for me. anyone can give me some reasons that I should go with tforce550? Just wonder why ppl look for cheap tforce550, but even no one mention this nforce4 baby?

nForce4 is an older chipset. It has 2 PATA controllers, but fewer USB ports, no high-def audio (Just AC'97) and is a worse overclocker. It may also use more power than the nForce 5xx series.

the nForce4 is a good chipset if you have more than one PATA peripheral. Otherwise, the 550 is found on newer board designs, which are more likely to support newer processor revisions.

thx for response. i have a nice audio card, so I dont really care about the hd audio. but for oc, do you know how much difference the two mbs have?
