First one is 1080p and the other one is 720p.
First one has 4 HDMI and other one has 2.

Easily worth the extra $100 if you are only comparing between these two.

My bad. Should have said first and third one. Both 1080p.

Third one does not have a built in tuner. Therefore it will only be able to get broadcast signals via:

Satellite service
Cable service w/external box
External tuner

It will obviously be able to display any video signals from devices such as a dvd player, HD format player, Computer etc.

Newegg typically doesn't show the true price of a item when its not in stock. Also it could have gone down since it went out of stock and hasn't been revised.

Either way the first model is the better option.

LVM-42W2 = 1080p monitor (no tv tuner)
2 DVI, 1 VGA, 1 HDMI, 2 components, 1 SVHS and 1 RCA inputs

TX-42F430S = 1080p TV
NO DVI inputs

I wouldn't call TX as better since LVM has a better CMO panel.

Westinghouse quality control is always YMMV - I have a 2yrs old near perfect LVM-42W2 and I consider myself Very Lucky

Do not pay attention to this post.

I have a Westy W4207 42-inch 720p HD monitor. For whatever reason it will also run native 1920x1080 (this phenomena so documented over at AVS) ...

I have no idea whether this same phenomena would apply to the first model (720p) on your list ...

Seldom does it make a visable difference at my viewing distance (except to make the text I'm typing really small in 1080p)

What's a CMO panel? I really need to distinguish which one is better ~_~
