What's the fastest PCI (non-express) low profile videocard out?

I have a low profile Dell system at work, and am switching to the night shift soon. The way I figure it is what the boss doesn't know wont hurt me, so I want to install a decent gaming video card into the system. Since it's a low profile system, only a low profile card will work. Also, I am 99% sure it doesn't have an AGP port, so regular PCI is required. I know I wont get anything blazing fast, but something good enough to play 3D RTS games would be fine.

Any recommendations?

Guys are missing one of the key requirements, LOW PROFILE. This is one of those slim line Dell desktops, an Optiplex GX270 to be exact. Regular full height cards simply wont fit.

If they look at the programs on your computer, they might see you have a game there. Don't put shortcuts on the desktop either.

It's also worth noting that they'd probably take issue with your modifying the system. Businesses actually care about warranties, and once you open the case...there it goes. Don't game at work. I atleast can get away with it, being my own boss. <_<

I'm not sure how much the 64 bit memory interface holds back the 5700LE. The 256MB BFG 5500 PCI has a 128 bit interface and is overclocked. You may want to look into that...........

just bring along a sony psp or gameboy ds. modifiying companies computer and installing games is risky.

Maybe you should just bring in a laptop. Your workplace may not appreciate you upgrading their system. You also have to worry about Big Brother monitoring your computer use.

My friend was fired for stealing office supplies. I think it was less than $10; although it isn't really relevant to this case, it shows that companies care about their stuff. a few dollars, a few hundred - they are likely to get onto you about changing video cards.

psp or laptop are good choices.
