True story:

Last week I went to the store to get some groceries. I had my cart filled 1/2 way up and left it to go get something I forgot in another isle.

I returned, threw the items in the cart, and continued to add things for another three isles.

Half way down the 4th isle, I noticed two boxes of Ho-Ho's in the cart."I didn't get these!" I thought. Then I looked at the rest of the items - I had taken someone else's 1/2 full cart! Instead of returning it, I left it and went to get my cart.

On the way out, I saw a VERY elderly lady complaining to a man in a tie (I assume a clerk or something) about someone stealing her cart and she's too weak to walk through the store again. The man took her shopping list and went to replace all the items.

I laughed and felt like a jerk all at the same time. If they review the security tapes, I'm screwed

I don't really do crappy stuff to people, at least not in a while. A neighbors dog took a crap in my yard recently and I thought about returning it to them, I guess that counts.

Yeah i just feel slightly bad for lieing to him, he asked if i was going to call the cops and i said no. Then hung up with him and called the cops. I figured the lives he was risking by driving drunk was more important than me lieing to him about it. I work as tow truck dispatcher and he called me cause he put his car in the ditch and was obviously intoxicated just by the way he was talking/slurring. The cops tested him with almost 2.4 times the legal limit in his system.

I've never had good food AND good service at Applebees. Its always one or the other. If its neither then I seek out the manager and complain. If its a teenage asshole then I dont bother.

Ever since I was a kid, it has been a game in my head, to think of the most outlandish or obscene opposite of a scenario. I have read that the brain loves the unusual, and it is fairly common.

So I think of some pretty bad stuff almost every day.

That doesn't make you a jerk. Dumping the salt shaker onto the table or spelling out "Fuck You" in ketchup would have made you a jerk.

But you should have left her a note explaining why you didn't leave a tip. She still would have thought you were an asshole, but maybe she'd keep it in mind and improve her service.

Kicked my sister out of my house when she was 3 months late on rent. Worked out in the end, our relationship has never been better and she has gotten her life on track but man did I feel like a jerk when I did it.

A while back my coworker got lunch from the cafeteria, the menu clearly stated "two egg rolls". When the cook only gave him one, he talked to the cashier about it and showed her the menu (the cashier is known as 'The Soup Nazi" here). She said that it was a mistake and too bad, he only gets one egg roll. He talked to another cook who gave him the second egg roll, the cashier didn't like that the other cook did that.

A couple months go by, the cashier's son suicided via hanging. We all thought, "That's what she gets for not giving that second egg roll that is on the menu!"
