What's the least you've ever paid for a concert?

i've heard of the ataris. and phantom planet played at ucla last year.

I've seen dozens of major name bands for free, but that is because I used to be a concert promoter... people still give me tickets for old favors on occassion

i could have seen busta rhymes for free last year at school but i don't like him or his music. the only real concert i've been to was DMB and that was 30 or 40

Many $7 and $8 concerts

For $18 saw: Journey, Aerosmith, Ted Nugent, ZZ Top, AC/DC, Brownsville Station

For $12 saw: Heart, J. Giels, Blackfoot, Triumph

Here is a $7 one I didn't go to, but it was 2 weeks after Woodstock

Oh yeah, a buddy got me into a Palace Suite a couple of times for free to see Aerosmith.

Negative $25 when me and my friend won a radio station's concert giveaway in Toronto (to see BNL before "One Week" had them blowin' up.) The concert was at some tiny little venue in Etobicoke (sp?) and the $25 was for "cab fare" (officially I think it was for drinks but since we were underage at the time we found other uses for it.)

Yeah.. It's too bad that 90% of the current bands copy them too. I think we are in another recession for music. Just like we were back in the late 80's right before the Seattle scene hit with bands like Nirvana and Pearl Jam. We now have all this generic rock where everyone is copying everyone else and the top artists are boy bands and rap. suck!

BTW.. The freshest thing I've heard lately is Radiohead and that's not too recent. Coldplay is just Radiohead on Queludes IMO. Heh
