11 hours at a time for a truck driver, but there are a ton of ways around that. Best way for me was to drive on my wife's time, then on mine, which I did pretty often when we were running team style.
My longest stretches were:
Junction, TX to Hammond, LA
Orlando, FL to Monroe, LA
Davenport, IA to Denver, CO <-- probably the longest @ 839 miles
I averaged 500-700 miles/day when we were on the road, with my wife averaging 400-600 or somewhere close to that. You aren't making money as a team truck if you aren't burning up 1000 miles per day or more.
Those were all non-stop runs, fuel only, eat on the road...that's what's expected of team trucks. My wife and I made some long runs non-stop with us both driving. Averaged 49.5 MPH from San Francisco to Newark, NJ with fuel stops, that's almost 3000 miles. Also made Orlando to Las Vegas in 47 hours. It's rough doing that, but the money was so fantastic that we did it as much as we could.
