Yeah, it was a pursuasive piece. I ended up only getting a B because I could find any "credible" sources for my information. "My friend Mike, who has been a big fan of eating food for 22 years now" isn't good enough, apparently.

Me and some buddies were up in canada for a bachelor's party. all hung over the next morning so we went to a breakfast buffet where i thought it would be a great idea to eat nothing but bacon. about 4 plates of solid bacon later.. i thought i was going to die of grease. i must have had 2-3 lbs of bacon in one sitting.

I have eaten an entire package in one sitting. Here is my recipe for cheese bacon, aka bacon nachos.

1) cook one package of bacon, use paper towel to remove excess greese.

2) place bacon back into pan to heat up

3) add large amount of shredded cheddar cheese until melted

4) serve hot

mmmmmmm...good!

By the way, I highly recommend Nueskes. Their bacon is far better than anything I have ever purchased from a store.

I think it's pretty funny that everyone's answer is either 4 pieces or a whole pound.

BTW I think most grocery packages are 12 oz, not a full pound...

I love bacon sandwiches... 2 pieces white toast, buttered, with 8-12 pieces of bacon in between. Mmm... bacon. I'm usuall ok on my own, but get me in a buffet line with crispy bacon and it is game over.

Bacon is very delicious, however, I'd say it's not "the best" food out there.

Bacon does have the abillity to make delicious feasts, into super delicious feasts though. For instance, Cook a Turkey on the grill, tasty, put 5 or 6 strips of bacon on top of a turkey, then cook it on the grill, mmmmmmm SUPER tasty.

that being said, the most bacon I've ever consummed in one sitting was 8 strips.
