When I was about 8-9, I was terrified by The Fly w/ Jeff Goldblum. To this day, I won't watch it because of how bad it freaked me out. Human mutation in movies is just something I can't take. Blood and gore and mass killing is no problem.

I am surprised this got mentioned so early. The rape scene is truly disturbing. I refuse to let my wife watch it for fear of freaking her out too much.

For whatever twisted reason both my wife and I like the movies Saw and Saw 2 and we got to talking about the most disturbing movie we ever watched. So what's yours, what totally freaked you out after watching it.
Faces of Death does'nt count

I cannot find this movie. None of the video stores in my area stock it. Any idea where to pick it up?

I would have to say the first SAW.
Speaking of faces of death. I've seen one of those and you can see more graphic stuff nowadays on tv shows like Maximum Exposure.
Is this because we have become desensitized?

It's a BBC film from the 80's about the aftermath of a nuclear war. I never want to see that movie again, it gave me nightmares for two weeks afterward.
